Will Milner Released From The Cougars

Keighley Cougars and Will Milner have come to a mutual agreement to release Will from the remainder of his contract with the club.

Joining in June 2016, initially on loan, from the Featherstone Rovers, Will made his move to Cougar Park permanent ahead of the 2017 season.

The half-back made 21 appearances for the club, 13 of which were this season, and scored 4 tries in his time with the Cougars with his last first team appearance coming in June’s defeat to Newcastle Thunder in Kingstone Press League One.

His last appearance for the club came in a Reserves friendly victory over the Coventry Dragons in June in which Milner sustained a broken toe.

The Cougars would like to thank Will for his services to the club and wish him best in his future endeavours.

  1. I couldn’t agree more , I really rated him , sad to lose such a good player.
Anyone know why Danny Lawton is out of favour , another excellent player, we could do with him playing for us and not out on loan !
