Swinton Lions currently ply their trade at the Leigh Sports Village ahead off their move to a new ground in the Agecroft area of Pendlebury in the former borough of Swinton & Pendlebury, near Manchester.

The Leigh Sports Village is a £50 million multi use sports, retail and housing development in Leigh, Greater Manchester. The ground was built and opened in 2008 as part of the regeneration of Leigh and provide modern facilities for local sports clubs, schools and community. The ground was officially opened on Thursday 21st May 2009 by Her Majesty the Queen and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh.

Leigh Centurions are the operators of the 11,000 capacity stadium in during their five years since moving from Hilton Park, which was located just down the road from LSV they have become Championship title contenders and 2011 Northern Rail Cup victors despite their financial irregularities. The Lions have been at LSV since the end of the 2011 campaign when they agreed to groundshare with Leigh following Salford’s decision to leave The Willows.

Visiting Supporters are welcomed into the Legends Bar before the game, half time and after the game, there is NO admission price. Beer is served at pub prices and food is available before the game. Legends Bar is situated only one yard away for the away turnstile entry, and at half-time you can enter off the concourse via the back doors WITHOUT having to go out of the stadium. The facility has become extremely popular with visiting supporters so we advise early arrival.

There is a large car park which supporters can use at the venue itself as well as a limited number of spaces available at the Morrisons Supermarket located next to the ground. Parking at the Leigh Sports Village is FREE, however the Morrisions Supermarket may charge for use of the parking facilities.
