The North Wales Crusaders currently play out of the Queensway Stadium in Wrexham, the club’s home since departing the Racecourse Ground in July 2016.

The Queensway Stadium is an athletics stadium and the home to Wrexham Athletics Club but has been converted to also be able to home the Crusaders following their decision to move from the Racecourse Ground.

Queensway consists of two small all-seater stands on one side overlooking a rugby pitch and a running track with floodlights and has good disabled access.

Renowned for its superb track and field facilities, Queensway Stadium has attracted some of the worlds top international athletes, including Wales’ own Colin Jackson and world champion Paula Radcliffe.

During the summer of 2012, Queensway Stadium was the official training camp for the Lesotho national squad. Queensway Stadium has also been the training venue for the Wales Rugby League and USA Rugby League teams for the 2013 World Cup.

As well as being a major regional venue for athletics, Queensway is a busy community facility offering an excellent range of leisure activities and events throughout the year.

WHERE TO DRINK:

Due to the location of the Queensway Stadium, there is no pubs nearby to the ground but the Crusaders do have a bar and catering located on site at the ground.

WHERE TO PARK:

There is FREE parking for all supporters at the Queensway Stadium. This is however on a first come, first served basis.
