The ‘White Bull’ Adam Ryder has proven to be a massive hit with the supporters both on and off the field.
Joining on trial from Huddersfield YMCA Rugby Union after being pointed in the direction of Craig Lingard by now Cougars teammate Ritchie Hawkyard, Ryder impressed massively during pre-season.
A Man of the Match performance in a pre-season friendly victory over Hunslet Warriors in early January 2017 saw the big centre handed a two-year deal by the club.
His hard hitting running style and ability to power his way through many an oppositon player to get to the tryline has earned him massive credit during his debut season whilst also proving a hit with the female supporters with his chisled looks.
His debut season also saw Ryder cross for 18 tries, meaning he came second in the charts to left-side partner Andy Gabriel.
