Keighley Cougars v Workington Town (7.30pm)
Keighley Cougars coach Paul March could make up to four changes to the Keighley line-up after Sunday’s 62-12 defeat at Leigh Centurions.
March, James Haley and Joe Chandler are all set to return to action as the Cougars look to end a six-match losing streak.
March said: “We let ourselves down massively at the weekend, but there’s no better way forward than putting some wrongs right just four days later. I’m sure we’ll do that.”
He added: “We need to get the result on Thursday. Workington are coming off the back of a loss and they’ll be throwing everything at us, but we’ve got to meet fire with fire.”
Workington Town coach Gary Charlton is hoping for better luck after watching his side lose in heartbreaking fashion when they conceded a last-minute try against Doncaster.
Charlton said: “We played OK, but there’s still a lot of improvement in our team.”
And Charlton also warned his team against complacency as they prepare to face a Keighley team whose last win came on April 1.
He said: “Their results don’t show how much effort they’ve been putting in.”
Workington winger Mark Calderwood will make his 300thcareer appearance if he plays on Thursday.
