Nicholson Extends Deal As Hesketh Departs

Keighley Cougars can today confirm Brad Nicholson has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

Nicholson joined the Cougars from Doncaster in the off-season and has impressed in pre-season with his hard running and quick feet from the Prop position.

‘Nicho’ has been an ever present for Craig Lingard’s side so far this season appearing off the bench against Doncaster and Fryston before starting in Sunday’s win over the North Wales Crusaders.

Brad becomes the sixth player following Adam Ryder, Matty Beharrell, Mike Emmett, Josh Tonks and Josh Lynam to sign on for the 2018 season.

The club can also confirm Sean Hesketh has been released from his contract to join Hunslet RL.

Paddy re-joined the club from the Batley Bulldogs in late September but has now been released from his contract for personal reasons and has now joined the South Leeds outfit.

Keighley Cougars would like to wish Hesketh all the best in his future endeavours.
