Luke Haigh Re-Signs

Keighley Cougars can today announce that hooker Luke Haigh has become the twelfth member of the squad to re-sign for the 2015 Kingstone Press League One campaign.

Luke joined the club three weeks into the 2014 season from Thornhill Trojans following his departure from the Hunslet Hawks at the end of 2013 following the Hawks relegation from the Kingstone Press Championship.

Making his debut away in the 40-14 victory at Rochdale the day after he signed for the club, Luke became a regular member of the seventeen and was man of the match in the 40-20 home defeat of Dewsbury as well as featuring in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final tie at Widnes.

Haigh missed the end of this season through an achilles injury in his ankle and will be looking to play a key role in the 2015 push for promotion.

  1. Good resigning, how about the local lads in the u20’s any of them getting a chance in the first team this year plenty of talent and pride in that group of players.
