This summer the Tour de France, one of the world’s greatest sporting events, is coming to the UK for three incredible days. From 5–7 July, the Tour de France Grand Départ – the first three stages of the Tour – will take riders through the stunning scenery of Yorkshire and onto London.
Marie Curie is the official charity partner of this year’s Grand Départ and Napoleon’s getting into the spirit of the tour by hosting a 24 hour Cyclathon at Napoleons Owlerton!
From 1pm on Friday 4 July right through to 1pm on Saturday 5 July they’re having two stationary bikes running non-stop for 24 hours! The bikes are kindly supplied by FitSpace Sheffield and staff, customers & friends of Napoleons are signing up for 30 minutes slots throughout the day, night & early hours to keep the bikes going & covering a distance of 550km per bike – the same distance of all UK legs of the TDF.
They’d be grateful for any support you can give us to help reach their donation target AND are also still looking for PEOPLE TO SIGN UP to the 30 minute slots so if you’re interested in getting involved this way too please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Donate at: http://www.justgiving.com/napoleons24hourcyclathon or text ‘NAPS47 £3’ to 70070 to donate £3 to Marie Curie & to support our 24 Hour Cyclathon.
