As part of their pre-season preparation Keighley Cougars have formed a partnership with High Adventure in Cowling. The first team squad will be undertaking a team building event there on Sunday, 2nd February, and undertake activities which include sumo (shouldn’t be any problem for the props), archery and the death defying high ropes!
Another aspect of the partnership is that High Adventure will provide a prize for every first team home game this season which is an Activity Session for a group of 4, doing much the same as what the first team are doing in a few weeks time.
Gary Fawcett from the Cougars, said “This is exactly the kind of partnership the Cougars seeks within its community. It creates a more diverse offering for our fan base, which makes the club even more exciting to be a part of, and our first team can benefit from the skills of a local business to help them prepare for the season. I am sure that once the guys have helped each other out 30 feet in the air then they’ll bring that team spirit onto the park on game day.”
Liz O’Keefe from High Adventure said: “We are proud to be in partnership with the Cougars and look forward to applying our skills to help the Cougars to success over the coming season. High Adventure provides a range of challenging yet fun activities in a safe environment and the prize we’re awarding for each game will allow the fans to experience part of what we do.”
