Ex-players reunion

Keighley Cougars welcomed back players from the past six decades to the ground on Sunday 13th October for their annual Reunion organised by former players and coaches Gary Moorby and Paul Moses. About sixty of Keighley’s star players enjoyed meeting up with their former team mates and officials from the club to ‘replay’ the great days of Keighley RLFC and Cougars. Brian Jefferson, Billy and Colin Woolford, Dave Garbett, Kevin and Gary Rose, Paul and Joe Bardgett, Alan Clarkson, Jeff Butterfield, Calvin Wilkes, Dave Jickells, Billy Cockcroft, Ian Sinfield, Paul Ashton, Danny Ekis , James Rushforth, Karl Smith, Andy, John and Phil Stephenson, Chris Robinson and Graham Hallas to name a few of the names of the greats who attended. Oldest member was Arthur Grice who played in the 1950s.

  1. Hey Moss(Paul Moses),

Do you have one of these every year?
The kids are off my hands next year and might try and get over there.
I still keep in touch with Carl Hirst.
Gary Rose still going? Is he still tough talking? Might plant one on his chin if (when ) I get over there!

    Vince O’Brien (1988/89 Aussie)
