Cougars Re-Sign Ross Peltier

Keighley Cougars are pleased to announce the re-signing off Ross Peltier following his return from Australia.

Ross, a Jamaican International, originally joined the club last year from the Huddersfield Giants Academy and after failing to make a single apperance for the Cougars first team, he decided to head down under to enjoy a stint in the Queensland Cup.

Following the return of Ross, Paul March had this to say to Gareth Walker off the Rugby League Express: “Ross is back from Australia and we’re giving him a chance another chance to become a first team player.”

“He played in the Queensland Cup in Australia, and now wants to give it another shot here, because he doesn’t feel as though he fulfilled his potential.”

“He played front row for the Huddersfield 20s, but is now more of a backrower and he’s a big unit with a lot of skill. Now it’s down to how he applies himself.
