Keighley Cougars v Dewsbury Rams Match Preview by Joshua Chapman (@Chapalar) in association with A1 Stairlifts.

With victory over Swinton and a Challenge Cup Quarter Final tie at Widnes secured, the focus is back on the Championship this Sunday as Dewsbury Rams visit Cougar Park.

A hard fought affair at Leigh Sports Village provided Player-Coach Paul March the perfect platform to re-introduce Daley Williams and Ben Sagar to first team action after lengthy lay-offs.

This Sunday could see the long awaited return from injury of club captain James ‘Buster’ Feather from the groin injury which has ruled out since the 37th minute against Whitehaven on day one of the season in February.

James Haley (Back) could be set for a return but Andy Shickell is still a week away from recovery following suffering a stress fracture in his foot. Elliot Cosgrove is also on the casualty list as he recovers from a fractured eye socket.

Glenn Morrison’s charges are back into action after over two weeks off following a resounding 43-10 victory over arch rivals Batley Bulldogs.

With a mass of former Super League talent at the Rams disposal, the Cougars will have to be wary of the likes of Karl Pryce and Wayne Godwin who control the Rams side around the field.

The Rams have been in top form this season and are currently find themselves occupying fourth spot in the Kingstone Press Championship.
