Brendon Rawlins, sin-binned in 23rd minute following an incident with Workington’s Tom Curwen, has been charged with Grade A Striking and has an EGP available to him.

Neil Cherryholme, who was sent from the touchline in the 31st minute of the draw, has been charged with Grade A Foul language towards a Match Official. Chez does have a EGP available to him.

The final charge is one of Grade A High Tackle for Davey Dixon. Davey does not have a EGP available.

All four hearings will be heard this coming Tuesday (18th July).

  1. Sam Smith says:

The discipline of the side is killing the season – its quite easy to solve – introduce a fine for a penalty (£25 to charity) at the coaches discretion for an unnecessary penalty. These penalties have cost 20 points a game as an average. Without this look how many matches we would have won and where we would be in the table

I think Sam Smith makes an excellent point , in 60 years I have never known a Keighley team give away so many penalties , attend so many disciplinary hearings and drop so many passes.
We have a very good squad capable of beating anyone and with plenty of depth , at the moment however they are playing as individuals and not as a team , game plans seem to be forgotten once the boys cross the line and there is little control of the team once they are playing .
I am confident Craig and the other coaches can resolve these issues and look forward to making good progress in the final part of the season.
Best of luck for this weekend.
