Keighley Cougars can today announce another two of the club’s young stars have penned new deals ahead of the 2015 season.
The first of the two is Prop Forward Ryan Patchett, who made his senior debut in the 2013 Northern Rail Cup defeat against Batley at Cougar Park.
Despite making a number of appearances towards the latter of the campaign, ‘Rhino’ found chances limited in 2014 with his only game for the Cougars coming in the 56-6 defeat away at Widnes in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final and this saw Patch spend a month on loan at Hemel Stags.
The other to sign a new deal is young second rower Chris Watson. ‘Watto’ was awarded a first team contract prior to last season but failed to make a single apperance but did manage to become an ever present in Dean Muir’s Under 20’s side.
