19 Man Squad Announcement – Newcastle Thunder

Head Coach Craig Lingard has today announced his 19 man squad to face Newcastle Thunder in the re-arranged Betfred League One Round 2 fixture.

Fresh off his debut at Oldham last weekend, Darrell Griffin is in line to make his 400th career appearance at Kingston Park this Sunday afternoon.

Cameron Leeming is included for the first time in the 2018 season after fully recovering from the knee injury he sustained during pre-season that ruled him out of action for three months.

Harry Aaronson, who featured for the English Universities side on Wednesday evening, is brought back into the 19 man squad after missing out last Sunday at Whitebank as is Brendon Rawlins.

Hamish Barnes (Shoulder) is ruled out through injury with both Davey Dixon and Lewis Fairhurst dropping out of the side that lost in Lancashire last weekend.

James Davies and Harvey Hallas (both Shoulder) have both recovered from injury but this Sunday’s trip to the north-east comes too soon for the Prop pairing.
