Nathan Kitson

nathan-kitson-jpg-pwrt3PROFILE:

Nathan Kitson joined the Keighley Cougars in September 2016 as the first new recruit to be brought to the club by newly appointed Head Coach Craig Lingard.

Kitson arrived at Cougar Park from League One rivals Oxford RL after two seasons in which the utility who can play in a wide range of positions was arguably the key link in Tim Rumford’s side.

A goalkicker and a regular tryscorer, Nathan can play at full back, half back or at hooker, giving any coach a range of choices in where to play and utilise him on the field.

Rumford signed Kitson to the ‘Blue Army’ from amateur outfit Bradford Dudley Hill, a club in which Nathan had been a star player for including a personal 30 point haul in a 2013 cup match against at Heworth side the coached by the man now at the Oxford helm.

Upon his arrival in Oxfordshire, Nathan become a regular and a mainstay in the Oxford side with a string of impressive displays to earn the Saltaire based player a move to Cougar Park.
