Callum Dunne

Callum Dunne joined the Cougars in September 2016 on a trial basis after being handed an opportunity by Head Coach Craig Lingard.

This isn’t Dunne’s first time down at Cougar Park however after he spent a brief period in the Reserves side in 2015 following his release from the Halifax reserves grade after they disbanded.

Coming through the youth team set-up at Halifax based amateur side King’s Cross, Dunne became a member of the Halifax Reserves set-up in 2013 through their partnership with Calderdale College and remained at The Shay until the end of the 2014 season.

With the Reserves grade disbanded, Dunne spent time with both the Dewsbury Rams and Cougars Reserves Grade before re-joining Fax after they started their reserves programme once more for the 2016 season.

Dunne featured in Fax’s pre-season friendly victory over the Cougars in January 2016 before spending the remainder of the season in the Reserves side and was part of the side that impressively beat a strong Warrington Wolves outfit at The Shay prior to being released again at the end of the season.
