#EngvExiles

England fans can show their true colours like never before when the country’s best Rugby League players go head to head with the cream of overseas talent in the International Origin Match next month.

To celebrate England’s fixture against the Exiles at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington, on Friday June 14, the RFL has put together possibly the best value ticket package in Rugby League history.

For a limited time supporters can purchase a £20 ticket and receive a free England shirt to wear at the match and throughout the summer going into Rugby World Cup 2013.

Shirts are already in short supply in some sizes so fans are advised to book today to take advantage of this great offer, which is available by phone only – please call the RFL Ticket Office on 0844 856 1113 (Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm).

The International Origin Match is England’s only confirmed fixture before RLWC2013 and is a game the national team have targeted as a highlight of a memorable sporting year.

England coach Steve McNamara said: “The Origin game does form an important part of our preparations for the World Cup but more importantly it’s a fixture we very much want to win.

“We spoke at length about playing the Exiles during our camp at Loughborough last weekend and it was clear from all the players that there is a real hunger not just to feature in this match, but to win it.

“We won the first of the two Origin games last year but were pipped at the post in the second one: this year it’s a one-off game and an opportunity for all of us to put down a marker.

“Our preparations have gone exceptionally well and the players are hoping to have the whole country behind them this year: they got a huge lift from the amazing support we got in the 2012 Four Nations final against Australia and it would be fantastic to have that passion roaring us on against the Exiles.

“Many of our players continue to have strong links with their community clubs and I know from my own experiences that it’s a source of great pride for all the clubs who have played a part in producing players for the national team.

“A lot of the players have also had experiences in the Championships as well with people like Chris Hill having come through the ranks at New Spring Lions in Wigan and Leigh Centurions are great examples of how England team brings the whole sport together.”

Tickets for the International Origin Match at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington, on Friday June 14 cost from £20 (£15 for 65+ students, £10 for under-16s) and can be purchased by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk/
