Keighley Cougars can this evening confirm two of our players have been charged by the RFL Disciplinary Panel.
Sean Kelly, who was dismissed in the 77th minute of our defeat to Barrow, has been charged with an offence of Grade D Other Contrary Behaviour with no Early Guilty Plea available to Sean due to the severity of the charge.
A Grade D charge carries a suspension of 4-6 games which is applicable to all First Team Fixtures and competitive Reserve Team Fixtures.
Mike Emmett has been charged with an offence of Grade A Stamping with no Early Guilty Plea available to Mike as he has submitted an EGP within the last 12 months.
A Grade A charge carries a suspension of 0-1 games which means Mike is likley to be suspended for the game against South Wales Ironmen on Saturday 3rd June.
Both hearings will take place this coming Tuesday (23rd May) evening.
