VENUE:
dewsbury stadiumCrown Flatt, known as the Tetley’s Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is a rugby league stadium in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England. It is the home of Dewsbury rugby league club. It occupies the site of Shaw Cross Colliery, which closed in August 1968.

The stadium has two covered stands, one seated and one standing with an approximate capacity of 5,100 including 900 seats and disabled facilities. As part of the Rams’ Community Development Programme, the stadium also hosts matches for a number of other organisations. This ranges from local schools’ matches, representative amateur and student rugby league games to American football matches and fun days.

There are plans to develop the complex over the next couple of years as the club aims to bring the ground up to Super League standards.

Dewsbury played their first home game at the new Crown Flatt stadium (often erroneously called New Crown Flatt) on 6 September 1994 in front of a full house against Barrow, a match they won 82-6.

WHERE TO DRINK:
The Bailey Bar is located on the North Stand Ground Floor and is open to spectators for 2 hours prior to kick off.

The Royal Suite on the North Stand 1st Floor usually opens 90 minutes before kick off and remains open throughout the match and after the match.

The South Stand Bar at the rear of the South Stand opens 90 minutes before kick off and closes at the end of half time.

WHERE TO PARK:
Car parking in the main car park behind the South Stand is £2 per vehicle.
