Keighley Cougars can today confirm Callum Dunne has signed a deal with the club for the 2017 season.
Dunne joined the club on trial this pre-season following his release from Halifax after four years at The Shay and has impressed Head Coach Craig Lingard enough to be handed a one year deal with the side.
The winger has scored five tries during the Cougars pre-season campaign with his consolation effort at Barrow adding to a four try haul in the 84-12 victory over the Hunslet Warriors in early January.
Previously with the clubs reserves side for a brief spell in 2015, the deal will signify the start of Callum’s second spell with the club and he has spent the winter prior to January playing amateur for Halifax based side Kings Cross Park.
The club would like to congratulate ‘Dunney’ on earning a contract and look forward to seeing him in action during our 2017 campaign.
