19 Man Squad Announcement – Workington Town

Head Coach Craig Lingard has today announced his 19 man squad to face Workington Town this Sunday.

Linners has been left with a selection headache for Sunday with this week’s disciplinary hearings leaving him without the trio of Josh Tonks, James Feather and Hamish Barnes who have all been suspended for incidents in the defeat to York City Knights.

They join the injured trio of Scott Law (Groin), Vinny Finigan (Ankle) and Will Milner (Toe) on the sidelines and miss out on Sunday’s trip to Cumbria.

Ritchie Hawkyard (Facial) is included however for the first team since suffering his gruesome injury during the Good Friday victory over Hunslet in April and Brendon Rawlins (Concussion) also returns after missing the defeat to Whitehaven last weekend.

Aidan Scully, promoted from the Reserves this week, is also included and Scully is in line to make his first team debut at Derwent Park.

The Batley duo of Trae O’Sullivan and Brad Hill are not a part of the squad and are instead expected to feature next Sunday against Oxford instead.
