19 Man Squad Announcement – Whitehaven

Head Coach Craig Lingard has this morning announced the 19 man squad to face Whitehaven this Sunday.

Lingard has been forced to make changes to the squad with both Brendon Rawlins (Concussion) and Will Milner (Toe) sustaining injuries playing for the first and reserves side respectively last Sunday.

They join Scott Law (Groin), Vinny Finigan (Ankle) and Ritchie Hawkyard (Facial) in the treatment room.

Sean Kelly comes into the side following the completion of his four match suspension for his dismissal last month against Barrow Raiders.

Liam Darville comes back into contention after recent impressive performances for the reserves whilst the four players charged by the RFL Disciplinary Panel yesterday are available with hearings not taking place until Tuesday.

Is there anything can be done about sub standard refereeing which does spoil a game to me that’s what happened last weekend the game became frustrating to the teams because of poor decision taken by the man in the middle

    got to agree with John

York didn’t appear to have suffered the same frustration as the Cougars did. Yes, I’m an ardent fan but Keighley deserved all they got in the first half. The standard of rugby in the first 40 was appalling, as was the discipline. From my position on the terrace the referee was about as fair as he could be. I don’t blame the referee for spoiling the game
