19 Man Squad Announcement – Coventry Bears

Head Coach Craig Lingard has today announced his 19 man squad to face Coventry Bears this Sunday.

Hamish Barnes comes straight into the squad to come into contention to make his second debut for the Cougars after re-joining the club last week following a brief spell with the Dewsbury Rams.

The 23 day break since the Good Friday victory over Hunslet RL has given Lingard time to get players back onto the field from the physio room, as shown by Scott Law (Bicep) who returns to the side after sitting out the victories over Hemel and Hunslet.

Harry Aaronson also returns to the squad after missing out against Hunslet and is set to fill in at full-back for Ritchie Hawkyard who is expected to miss 6-8 weeks of action following the collision against Hunslet which left him requiring surgery for a number of facial injuries.

Josh Lynam (Back) misses out but is expected to be fit to return on Wednesday evening for the visit of the Barrow Raiders. Ben Sagar (Hamstring) is also sidelined and drops out of the side.
